This year Stonewall Columbus celebrates its 29th Anniversary of serving the Central Ohio LGBT community! The theme of this year’s Pride is Celebrate Our Families. So often, LGBT people need to create new families to replace those that were given to them at birth. Pride 2010 celebrates the value of families, no matter how we choose to define them.

The festival will include two days of fun and festivities at Goodale Park beginning Friday, June 18 from 3:00 p.m. – 11:00 p.m. and continuing through Saturday, June 19th from 10:00 am – 8:00 p.m. The annual Pride Brunch will be held on Sunday, June 20th at the Westin Columbus Hotel from 11:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. Our brunch this year will honor grand marshals Tom Grote and Rick Neal and their supportive families.

Our Pride celebration is one of the few in the country that continues to grow every year and our Pride Holiday is one of the top ten festivals in the U.S. Although growth is positive, it does mean that production costs continue to rise each year. The Pride Circle is a group of supporters who contribute to help Stonewall Columbus produce the Pride Festival and dollars given to the Pride Circle campaign go directly to the cost of this event. By donating to our Pride Circle campaign, you help us to continue to produce this cultural event every year.

Each donor who signs on before June 1, 2010 will be recognized on our website as a Pride Circle Donor and on the event signage at our festival.
